This rocks

Hello silverplated3

This is a very cool loop you have here, am trying to figure out, if that's a kick with a plentiful supply of reverb or whether it's some kind of bass I don't recognise.

The melody you have playing on slayer is really great sounding, it's not something Myself or my partner in crime use, but it is something, that if used right, can have a really good sound to it. which you've done with it right here, a very awesome effort

Keep it up

Nicely done

Hello VGMan2005

Having listened to this piece play through on loop for some time now. I'm finding that it is a really beautiful piece. The melodies seem to conjure up that whole sleepy feeling, like when you wake up, or before you go to bed, and feeling tired and exhausted and in dire need of sleep.

You've done an awesome job of capturing that whole feel with this piece.

A job well done, keep at it.

Impressive stuff here

Hello x1Rain1x

This is brilliant, I really hope to see this get used in a flash game in the future, it would work amazingly well in one too.

You've got a lot of diversity in this piece, the transitions throughout work together seamlessly too.

Good luck to you with this being used in a flash, and hope to hear more from you in the future, we'll be checking back in on you, from time to time.

Keep slinging those tunes onto NG man, this is excellent stuff.

Thanks for your vote, Critical-Collision! You voted 5 for S&K-Final Boss (Rain Mix), raising its score from 2.00 to 3.00.

We've just submitted the first piece we've made together, called The Journey Begins, could you perhaps review for us? please!

thanx im still a begginer but im trying.

not a thing wrong with this piece = 10's

Hello BritZombie

A downhill number of downloads eh? there's probably a reason for that, you need to gain more recognition and get yourself known around NG Audio community.

I just love the opening on this piece, the synth(s) you used worked really well as the starting point of the piece, the guitar melody and the scratching you placed into this, worked brilliantly in this.

A plentiful supply of diversity in this, and the whole thing flowed brilliantly.

The drum work on this worked amazingly well, and sounded awesome.

You should hopefully see downloads flying out, based on your efforts with this piece.

Good luck to you and keep up the good work

Thanks for your vote, Critical-Collision! You voted 5 for >Electro FIRE!<, raising its score from 4.00 to 4.25.

We've just submitted our second track, though it's the first one we worked on together, could you perhaps review it for us? please!

Thanks

BritZombie responds:

Wow, thanks for your compliments. Your stuff is better I'd say though.

I dont know this only has a single download. Maybe I could get some more.

I forget to vote on your track, I'll 5 now

Cheers

Wow this piece is amazing

Hello DarkValentine.

I just love the opening synth on this, a very enjoyable beginning. Love the beats on this, they do fit the track rather nicely. though there is one point where the beats are a little crazy, they still work though and well too.

The melodies in this are just beautifully crafted, I've lost count of how many layers of melodies I can hear in this, but they all mesh rather well.

Plenty of diversity in this piece as a whole too, you have those calmer moments, which really add to the kind of winter feel of the piece, the feel that can be felt in those melodies, and the slow synth you use in this piece (the one that starts the track)

A very enjoyable piece, I loved this.

Keep up the good work man

Thanks for your vote, Critical-Collision! You voted 5 for Acoustic Snowfall, raising its score from 4.00 to 4.50.

We've just submitted the first piece, we made together, could you perhaps review for us?

Thank You

DarkValentine responds:

Thanks, all of the melodies that were used in this, was to open up imagination to the mind, so that one could imagine the first snowflake falling from the sky. through a light snowfall.

then through a storm that builds, and letting it soon blanket the lands below.

it ends with spring, and melting of the snow, but showing that snow will be back once again.

Thanks for the review.

*pulls out air guitar*

Pure ambient DnB Sweetness

dj-padman, thanks for stopping by our page and leaving a review.

This piece, the ambient beginning on this is purely brilliant. It was an awesome way to start the piece. you've got some nice glitchy effects in this too, which boosts the feel of this track very nicely.

Good work man

5/5

Oh if you loved our first piece, you will love the next one, due in a couple of days.

Keep banging out these monster tunes, we'll be checking back in on you. ;)

dj-padman1 responds:

Thanks, I'll be waiting for your next one!

Good DnB not really IDM

Wowza this isn't all too close to IDM, it's definitely Drum n Bass, IDM has constant rhythm changes in it, thus making it less predictable. This follows a traditional rhythm structure, and is more predictable. It features glitched snare, you'll need to start getting down and dirty messing around with samples, distorting them to high heaven, twist them and misconstrue them to obblivion.

Keep at it man, look around some of the IDM sites for more pointers, you'll find it very useful, and get some sample editing tools too they'll come in very handy for what you're aiming for.

Good Luck to you!

5'd

DSMagnum responds:

Well, I'm not too sure what this was, and the first thing that popped to mind was IDM. My second thought was Drill N' Bass, which would probably be a more fitable genre for this.

Thanks for reviewing and 5ing. I'll be sure to get back to you soon.

It's good, but!

Wow what can I say, I can hear some absolute bitching guitar coming out of this track.

The opening of this track is sweet, kicking off with the drums, followed by that kick ass guitar.

Now I really love good metal, and this is really, very close to that.

Now there were some things about this track that aren't doing the tune justice at all, I'll give you some helpful pointers.

If you listen to the track, I'll help guide you through the bits I'm referring to, it will help you kick some serious ass with your killer guitars.

Here goes: at the beginning, you're drums kick in, there's no immediate problem, the guitar kicks in.

The point at which the guitar kicks in, it sounds crystal clear. Then the Hi-Hats/percussion kicks in 2-3 seconds after that. This is where the problem occurs.

The Hi-Hats and the guitar are sharing the same range of frequencies. which can lead to all sorts of problems, as can be heard in this track. the guitar sounds really muddy/unclear at the points where the Hi-Hats are on the scene.

I would suggest mastering this track, put your percussion into a channel, guitar into another, beats/snare onto their own too. throw some compression into the mix, and reverb on your percussion, and this track will sound amazing.

Good luck with your future tracks

METALSEATER responds:

Thanks for the review man

I did notice the hi hat seemed a bit too loud. I forgot to master it lol

I hit you back soon

Yay you made me laugh

hahaha You've done the Can Can

You genius, this is seriously likely to get used in a flash now, you realise?

Okay, this track isn't far from being awesome, it's real close to awesome, but just a little bit more work needs doing to this, for it to be an absolutely awesome track.

The improvements I can recommend:

The track needs to be mastered some more, the beats lack that real ooomph, they kind of do the job, but they're distorting just a bit.

I've got a feeling you're using FL, am I right?

For your percussional elements, I would put some/more reverb onto the mixer channel for those.

The instrument at the end, that kinda sounds like slayer, I don't think it fits this piece too well, it's alright in places, another instrument for the parts of that, that didn't sound ok, would make it more pleasing to the ear.

Bonus points for Making me laugh, you've done the Can Can, you're a genius!!!

I'm sorry but it's gotta be 5/5
